The crash is possibly caused by a UI mod as the last entries relate to one of those. SCS made a change not long ago that broke a lot of UI mods.
There's one principal way to delete this black screen. Just launch game in safe mod. #1. This should solve the issue, if not go back and try again. Using in - game console (If Enabled) ~. Open the console using the key located next to the number 1 with the symbol '¬'. Once that is open start typing 'g_force_economy_reset' about half way through you should be able to press the tab key to complete the line.
Follow-up #1: Tried setting my uset r_buffer_page_size to 30 (had it set to 20 prior), then that started crashing when I load my save so I reduced it back to 20, but the save still crashes upon load. Nothing helpful in the logs, still throwing the same Access Violation (which is what led me to try and change the buffer side).

Re: [1.32] Game crash when using ferry. Same here, the game crashes when I try to sleep anywhere in any truck. No mods, just year and a half old profile with 70+ trucks and tons of money. Fingers crossed people, don't want to start new profile to be able to by trailers, was planning to load my current profile with trailers right away.

Are you still playing v1.2.5? There's no fatal errors in the log, and indicated the game manually quitting from the loaded game main menu. Sorry my Bad this is an old log of 2013 didn't notice the date
